Right now I am reading Loose Balls, a book about the old ABA. It is mostly short and entertaining stories, which I like. It talks about how the ABA gets no credit for changing the game of basketball. Without the ABA, there would be no three point line, all star game, dunk contest and fast breaks. The old NBA would just to boring pick and rolls. All the old NBA players said that it was no fun playing. The ABA brought fun and excitement to the NBA which has changed the game.
I think some reasons I like this book is because it is entertaining. My favorite story was when Jerry Harkness made a full out shot to win the game. All the players thought the game was going to overtime because they forgot about the three point play. The referees told the players they won the game and everyone it confused. I would recommend this book to any basketball fan.
